Synopsis: It is a normal progression at some stage if you are still into
this hobby, to begin exploring EDF Jets. So we began our journey to look for a reasonably priced EDF,
at least 64mm, moderate speed 60 mph that uses our existing 2200 mAh 3S LiPo we use for our FPV Planes and Quadcopters 350. The F9F Panther met the perfect fit for
just under $85 shipped or you can locally pick it up for $70.

Notes
for flight test:
Dual rates 48% ailerons, 65% elevator, 35% expo. Also on board is lipo
battery alarm. When it goes off
(3.6volts) it's time to land. The esc will reduce power right at 3.5
volts. Also have throttle to elev mixing so on full throttle, pitch
stays level. Balance it upside down. 1800mah 3s 30c and get about 4 minutes of full throttle flight.
This jet has a fantastic glide slope and floats in for a landing
approach. I've had a couple of dead stick landings (when i couldn't hear
lipo alarm) and she glides very nicely for touchdown.
Pros: Everything you need to
build it, plus a nice screw driver and super A/B glue. Quality material
and great battery bay. Nice 64 mm. Love the colour scheme and
visbility. Uses a popular 3s 2200 mAh, x350 lipo. Flies great.
Cons: Lack of Rudder channel. Tail heavy, but easily
corrected before maiden flight.
